The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially opened its portal for recruitment into four major paramilitary agencies. The recruitment exercise, includes these agencies:

  1. Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).

2. Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).

3. Federal Fire Service (FFS).

Available Categories and Qualifications

There are three broad categories in this recruitment exercise, with various positions under each.

Category A: General Duty – Superintendent Cadre.

1. Superintendent of Corrections – CONMESS 02.

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine & Surgery.

• Available in: Nigerian Correctional Service only.

2. Assistant Superintendent I – COMPASS 10

• Qualification: BSc in Health Information Management, Nursing, Environmental Health, Laboratory Science, Radiology, or related fields.

• Available in: Federal Fire Service only.

3. Assistant Superintendent II – COMPASS 08.

• Qualification: B.SC or HND from a recognized university.

• Available in: All agencies.

Category B: Inspectorate Cadre.

1. Inspector – CONHESS 06.

• Qualification: RN, RM, or RNM certification from a recognized institution

• Available in: NCoS, FFS, and NSCDC.

2. Assistant Inspector – COMPASS 06.

• Qualification:  OND in any discipline

Category C: Assistant Cadre.

1. Assistant I (General Duty) – COMPASS 05.

• Qualification: GCE, SSCE, NECO, minimum 5 credits .

2. Assistant III (Drivers, Operators, Artisans) – COMPASS 03.

Qualification:

•A minimum of 4 credits in GCE,SSCE or NECO is mandatory.

• OR Trade Test Grade III in Driving, Auto Mechanics, Electricals, etc.

Statutory Requirements (Read Carefully)

To qualify, you must:

  1. Be a Nigerian by birth

2. valid documents is a must.

3. Be medically and physically fit (medical report from government hospital).

4. Have no criminal conviction or financial embarrassment

5. Be between 18 and 35 years old

6. HEIGHT:  1.65m (men) and 1.60m (women)

7. Male chest should be 0.87

8. Computer literacy is an added advantage
